My newest accessory is a baby and he may just be the cutest accessory ever, non?! I've been seriously slacking on my blog posts lately, but this is my excuse. He's been keeping me super busy for the last couple of weeks, and in the last weeks of my pregnancy he was making me so tired I was barely getting off the couch. So please excuse my lack of posts recently. I'm hoping to get back to normal again asap, so look out for some new outfit posts coming soon!
This little cutie, Otto Levi Kazimierczyk, was actually born right on time and at home. And yes, home is where I was planning to have him. People are always shocked when I tell them that I had both my boys at home - but I figure if women have been giving birth in huts in the middle of the jungle for thousands of years, I can do it at home with a team of trained midwives, right?! It's not brave, or reckless, or scary. It's actually totally awesome to have your baby at home because right after, you can cuddle up in your own bed with your new babe and get your rest, without having to be surrounded by strangers and nurses coming and going constantly. I have a bit of a phobia of hospitals though, so I really avoid them as much as humanly possible. That's why I decided to have my littles at home, and I don't regret it for a minute! Yes, there are no drugs...but there are a lot of downsides to the drugs that can be harmful to both mama and baby, so I even though it's more painful to go natural, I would always recommend to other mamas to go natural if you can take the pain (and it is A LOT of pain - like the WORST! Seriously. But worth it.)
